After Addressing Its Spread in the Holy Sites, "Wildlife": Commencement of the Phase to Address the Increasing Number of Baboons in the Remaining Targeted Areas

The National Center for Wildlife has announced the launch of a phase to address the issue of the increasing numbers of baboons in the affected areas in the Kingdom by implementing a package of solutions based on scientific studies previously carried out with the participation of local and international experts, which laid the foundation for the treatment.

The comprehensive solutions to address the spread of baboons and keep them away from populated areas while ensuring the problem does not return are part of the package of solutions developed based on scientific studies carried out by 13 experts from inside and outside the Kingdom and endorsed by relevant international organizations.

Earlier, the center had announced the completion of the treatment operations in the holy sites, with these areas being completely free of baboons. Subsequently, the center began treatment operations in the remaining areas.
