A program for assessing the state of marine habitats along the Red Sea coast
The National Center for Wildlife has launched a program aimed at assessing the status of marine habitats along the Kingdom’s Red Sea coast.
The program’s objective is to study the ecological systems in the Red Sea, including coral reefs, seagrass meadows, mangrove forests, and the associated species, evaluating their conditions and overall health.
Additionally, the program encompasses identifying natural risks and risks related to human activities that threaten these coastal ecosystems, while also devising necessary solutions to mitigate these threats.
