Memorandum of Understanding Bringing "Wildlife" Together with the Heritage Authority

The National Center for wildlife has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Heritage Authority. This signing took place at the main headquarters of the center in the capital, Riyadh.

The CEO of the center, Dr. Mohamed Ali Qurban, represented the center in the memorandum’s signing, while Dr. Jasser Al-Harbosh represented the Heritage Authority. The memorandum encompasses several areas of cooperation between the two parties. This includes an agreement regarding natural heritage sites and providing the necessary support for their preservation. They also discussed the possibility of implementing a plan for managing the submission of files to UNESCO for sites nominated for registration.

Additionally, the memorandum touched upon the implementation of training programs for the staff of both organizations, especially in the field of preserving cultural and natural heritage. There is also an understanding to execute awareness programs to raise community awareness about preserving cultural and natural heritage resources.
