About the Prince Muhammad Al-Sudairi Center
Prince Muhammad Al-Sudairi Center is located in the Al-Qassim region. It was given this name because the center’s land and the herds of roe deer on it were gifted to the NCW by the sons of Prince Muhammad Al-Sudairi for management and development. The National Center for Wildlife, through the King Khalid Center for Wildlife Research in Al-Thumama, maintains and cares for the herd of reef antelope and develops its breeding programme.
Programs Carried out by the Center:
In 2018, a breeding program for humane antelope was established at the Prince Muhammad Al-Sudairi Centre by transferring 32 Edame antelope from the breeding herd at the King Khalid Center for multiplication and supporting the herd at the King Khalid Centre. Prince Muhammad Al-Sudairi Center has two breeding programs for preserving endangered species such as:
- 1- Reem Antelope Breeding Program.
- 2- The Antelope Edame Breeding Programme.
