The center clarified that hunting is allowed only for the species announced on the website and “Fatri” platform, and those interested in hunting and carrying licensed hunting rifles must obtain hunting permits through the “Fatri” platform. The center stressed the importance of adhering to the executive regulations for hunting wild wildlife, which permanently prohibit the hunting of endangered animals, birds of prey, and hunting can only be carried out using licensed air rifles registered in the user’s name. The use of other means that lead to the hunting of more than one animal or bird, such as shotguns, hunting nets, or prohibited hunting methods like using gases, vehicle exhaust, drowning, the use of attraction and calling devices, and others, is strictly prohibited.
The center also emphasized the ban on hunting all types of animals or birds within the boundaries of cities, villages, centers, farms, resorts, or any inhabited areas, or near cities, military, industrial, and vital facilities, within the boundaries of protected areas and major projects. It is also prohibited to hunt along the coasts of the Kingdom up to a depth of 20 kilometers inland. The center called on those interested in hunting to strictly adhere to the regulations and executive rules related to hunting, noting that those who violate these rules will be subject to penalties specified by the law. The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Special Environmental Security Forces and other relevant security authorities, will apprehend violators and refer them to the appropriate authorities for the application of penalties.
