Workshop on the National Professional Standard for Rangers
The National Center for Wildlife organized a workshop for the center of the National Professional Standard for Wildlife Rangers, which was held for the first time from July 30th to August 3rd. The workshop was attended by 21 Saudi experts and practitioners representing over 16 national reserves, along with four international experts from leading wildlife ranger professionals from South Africa, India, and the United Kingdom.
Among them was Chris Gallies, the President of the International Ranger Federation. The workshop aimed to define the core responsibilities of wildlife rangers, their general and specialized knowledge, professional conduct, and future interests.
